Training For The Trainer

Objective

This one day workshop is intended to develop skills in designing and delivering training.   The focus is on building classroom and facilitator training skills as well as one- on- one training ability.  

Participants will be introduced to strategies and techniques to help trainees accept and apply learning.  Learning how to:

  • help trainees discover what they know
  • introduce new skills
  • create practice opportunities

In addition, the focus will be on:              

  • increasing confidence

Motivating Adult Learners

  • Using “choice” & “productive competition”

Designing The Presentation

  • Structuring to ease understanding
  • Opening & closing with pizzazz
  • Tuning in to channels WII-FM & MMFG-AM

Conducting Group Discussions

  • Dealing with individual or group resistance
  • Asking stimulating questions
  • Processing the information

Handling Question & Answer Periods
